So... Bread, Chips and Gravy?
It’s an odd name. We know.
There is a story behind it, but perhaps it’s just better if we let you ponder it.
Let’s just say we’re a little weird around here — and we’re quite comfortable with that.
It started with a kitty named Menace.
...and nothing was quite the same after that.
Menace wasn’t particularly interested in pet beds.
If there was a warm patch of sunshine, that’s where you’d find him.
He’d stretch out on the floor, claim the best seat in the house, and somehow make it impossible for anyone else to use it. He wasn’t fussy about where he slept—only that he was warm, comfortable and exactly where he wanted to be.
When he was gone, the house felt different.
Not because we suddenly wanted to build pet beds.
Because creating something meaningful keeps him with me.
Bread, Chips & Gravy actually began with digital downloads and creative ideas. The pet products came later, sparked by a pile of foam crumb, beautiful fabrics waiting to be used, and a simple thought…
“Why not make something we’d be proud to have in our own home?”
One idea led to another.
The products grew.
The collections grew.
The business grew.
But Menace never got left behind.
He’s still here—in the name, the stories, the little details and the reason we care so much about creating things that feel personal.
Because the people and pets we love don’t stop being part of our lives.
Sometimes they simply become part of what we create.

Creativity Has A Habit Of Growing.
Bread, Chips & Gravy didn’t begin with a business plan.
It grew one idea at a time.
Digital downloads became pet comfort.
Pet comfort inspired homewares.
Homewares made room for stories, keepsakes and creative projects.
Looking back, it all seems connected.
At the time, it was simply curiosity leading to the next idea.
